STC has developed a specialized architecture practice
that successfully blends design and technical expertise. Our approach
addresses a clients unique technical requirements while incorporating
the human factors that let a facility serve its users effectively over
time.
Early in our projects, we take the time to understand the basics: the
budget, the program, the necessary permits and approvals, how to
minimize energy usage and maximize design impact. We address broad
issues of what a given site allows and what regional design themes
encourage.
Our methods range from the traditional such as preliminary sketches that
build early consensus to the innovative such as 3D-computer imaging that
improves and speeds the design process and communication
