Division One of Siemens Building Technologies Inc. is the largest energy performance contracting firm in New England. Their client base includes the Mercer County Administrative offices (IOLA) and The Mercer County Community College (MCC); the combined facility provides electricity to MCC, the community hospital and the University of Rochester.Under the energy contract Siemens guarantees the electrical and thermal performance of the system thereby insuring an energy savings stream large enough to pay for all of the operational and maintenance costs and retire the project debt.
